The needs are many for creative projects for the county system in California. Many counties bid out there projects to allow registered companies to participate and bid on many projects ranging from logos and business systems to full print collateral for all county departments.
One issue we see at ID International is the county Purchasing Departments are responsible for all print and web design bids and contracts. They are also responsible for most if not ALL bid projects for the county. Most of these bids are for building and municipal contractors to repair or build additions to existing structures. These can become very complex and take lots of time to complete. Other projects, like the logo and materials for the Library for instance, get placed down the list of importance and often the bids are cancelled.
